Description
The Guadalupe River in central Texas begins a few miles west of the town of Kerrville and is one of the most beautiful rivers anywhere. It is spring-fed, wide, strong and clear and is lined by massive cypress trees brought to the area by Spanish missionaries many years ago. I have had the pleasure of calling this area my home for many years and have enjoyed the privilege of working on various ranches. This image depicts a fall afternoon as we drove the cattle through the shallows of the “Guadalupe Crossing”.
